The 11th edition of the Lake Arrowhead Classic Car & Motorcycle Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 29 in and around historic Lake Arrowhead Village. Widely regarded as the most beautiful car show venue in Southern California, Lake Arrowhead Village is about an hour's drive from Victorville. Admission is free for spectators.
Cars and Coffee Yucaipa
Cars and Coffee Yucaipa is an ideal car show for auto enthusiasts looking for a more intimate gathering. At this monthly show, you can admire a wide array of vehicles and even showcase your own pride and joy. You'll also be able to socialize and develop relationships with other gearheads. Some examples of the vehicles you can expect to see include classics, muscle cars, exotics, antiques, hot rods, rat rods, tuners, trucks, off-road vehicles, and motorcycles.
On the second Sunday of every month, Cars and Coffee Yucaipa starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. The venue is the parking lot in front of Wax Werks California, at 12129 Borden Lane, Yucaipa, which is approximately 60 miles from Victorville via Interstate 15 South. It costs nothing to attend this event or register your vehicle.
Family Classic Car Show
If you want to share your passion for automobiles with your family, bring them to the Family Classic Car Show, another car show in Yucaipa that takes place once every month. The organizing committee honors the event's name by making it inviting and enjoyable for the entire family. So you can feast your eyes on pre-1980s classic cars, muscle cars, vintage cars, trucks, and hot rods, while your children have fun playing games such as 50/50 and Opportunity Table. Rods & Rails
Rods & Rails is the City of Perris's annual car and motorcycle show. It features classic cars from the 1920s to 1970s and motorcycles from 1939 to the present displayed in the charming park-like atmosphere of the Southern California Railway Museum. In addition to an impressive exhibition of vehicles, the event also includes vendors offering interesting merchandise and delicious food, health and fitness demonstrations and screenings, kids' games, and live music. Also, the Perris Valley Historical Museum Association will host the annual Potato Festival in conjunction with the car show.
This year, Rods & Rails will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 7 at 2201 S. A St., Perris. From Victorville, you can get there in a little more than an hour by taking Interstate 15 South and Interstate 215 South. Admission to the event is free, but regular weekend prices apply for train and trolley rides.
Classics in the Park
Classics in the Park is another car show near Victorville worth checking out. Now in its third edition, this event showcases a fantastic selection of 1985 or older classic cars of different makes and models. These vehicles will compete to win trophies for many categories, including Best 50s, Best 60s Muscle Car, Best 70s, Best VW, Best Hotrod, Best Lowrider, Raddest Van, Best Paint, and People's Choice. Aside from the vehicles participating in the competitions, you'll also see plenty of other stunning classic cars in a park setting.
There's something for everybody at Classics in the Park. Your family can indulge in a wide variety of food and beverages, entertainment, and activities. Since the event occurs just before Halloween, the organizers encourage attendees to bring candy and take part in a trunk or treat for the children. They'll also set up a pumpkin patch and give out balloon animals as part of the celebrations. Those who wish to wear a costume are welcome to do so.
Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 28, Classics in the Park will take place at Pikes Peak Park in Norco, which you can find at 97 Sixth St. That's about 53 miles from Victorville via Interstate 15 South. The car show is free for spectators.
