The High Desert community is gearing up for an exciting event that brings together cars, music, and local support for students. Victorville Chevrolet, in partnership with Myers Marketing, will host the first annual Back-to-School Supply Car Show on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 15425 Dos Palmas Rd. in Victorville, CA.
A Celebration With Purpose
The car show isn’t just about admiring vehicles. It’s about giving back. The event will provide local students with free school supplies and community resources, all while offering entertainment for the entire family. From live music and games to raffle prizes and a scavenger hunt, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
School supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and students must be present to receive them. The goal is to ensure that as many children as possible in the High Desert head into the new school year equipped with the tools they need to succeed.
Celebrity Guests and Red Carpet Experience
One of the most exciting aspects of the evening will be the red-carpet experience. Students will have the chance to line up in the “Student VIP” queue starting at 4:00 p.m. and pose for free photos with a lineup of well-known guests.
Scheduled appearances include:
-
Efren Ramirez, best known as Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite (5:00–6:00 p.m.)
-
Hank Garrett, actor from Full House, Garfield & Friends, and G.I. Joe (6:45–7:45 p.m.)
-
James Bola, social media influencer (@jamesbola_2) (8:00–8:30 p.m.)
-
Naader “FreakEating” Reda, YouTuber and competitive eater (@freakeating) (8:30–9:00 p.m.)
Hollywood photographer Terry Conlan of Crown Photographic will be on site to capture professional photos of students and families at no charge, delivering memories they can keep long after the event ends.
Vendors, Food, and Community Support
Along with the car show and red-carpet fun, guests can expect plenty of local flavor. Vendors and food trucks, including Sweet Treats HD, will be on site with snacks and refreshments. Local businesses and organizations will also be represented, such as AT&T, Fiesta Auto Insurance, Abe’s Collision, Victor Valley College, and several High Desert police departments.
Car enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either, with participation from groups like Victor Valley Vettes and the High Desert Car Club Council. Their displays will add to the festive atmosphere while connecting the passion for cars with the spirit of community giving.
