2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV
The 2027 lineup consists of LT 1, LT 2, and RS. Front-wheel-drive models provide an EPA-estimated 319 miles of range, while available all-wheel drive provides 307 miles. Every model includes a 17.7-inch center touchscreen, an 11-inch Driver Information Center, seating for five, and more than 20 standard safety and driver-assistance features.
The main charging change for 2027 is a standard native NACS port. It expands access to compatible public charging locations without requiring the DC adapter used by earlier models. Chevrolet estimates that compatible DC fast charging can add up to approximately 80 miles of range in 10 minutes under appropriate conditions.
LT 2 adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, HD Surround Vision, and wireless phone charging. RS builds on LT 2 with unique fascias, black exterior details, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and 21-inch black wheels.
2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV
The 2026 Equinox EV was offered as LT 1, LT 2, and RS. EPA-estimated range measured 319 miles with front-wheel drive and 307 miles with available all-wheel drive. Maximum cargo volume remained 57.2 cubic feet, and the 17.7-inch touchscreen and 11-inch Driver Information Center continued as standard equipment.
Chevrolet listed public DC fast-charging estimates of up to 84 miles added in 10 minutes for FWD models and up to 81 miles for AWD models under appropriate conditions. The 2026 model used a CCS charging inlet. Access to compatible Tesla Superchargers required a GM-approved NACS DC adapter rather than the native NACS port introduced for 2027.
Convenience packages allowed buyers to add equipment such as ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, automated walk-up lighting, and other comfort or technology features to select LT 2 and RS configurations.
2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV
For 2025, Chevrolet organized the Equinox EV around LT and RS equipment, with LT equipment levels and packages allowing buyers to move from the entry configuration to a more fully equipped vehicle. The lineup retained front-wheel drive and available dual-motor all-wheel drive.
Output increased from the launch-year ratings to 220 horsepower with FWD and 300 horsepower with AWD. EPA-estimated range reached 319 miles with FWD and 307 miles with AWD. The vehicle continued to support 150-kW public DC fast charging and included the same 17.7-inch center touchscreen, 11-inch driver display, and 57.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo volume.
The 2025 Equinox EV did not include Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Google built-in handled supported navigation, voice-assistance, and app functions, while available equipment included Super Cruise, HD Surround Vision, a panoramic sunroof, and additional comfort features depending on configuration.
2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV
The 2024 Equinox EV was the first model year. Chevrolet introduced it with LT and RS design themes divided into numbered equipment levels, including 1LT, 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS. Availability varied during the launch, with 2RS arriving first and the lower-priced 1LT scheduled later in the year.
The original FWD system produced 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, while eAWD produced 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft. EPA-estimated range measured 319 miles with FWD and 285 miles with AWD. Standard 150-kW DC fast-charging capability could add approximately 77 miles of range in 10 minutes under appropriate conditions.
Even in its launch year, the Equinox EV included a standard 17.7-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch Driver Information Center, Google built-in, One Pedal Driving, and up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo volume. More Than 300 Miles of Range with FWD or AWD
Front-wheel-drive Equinox EV models provide an EPA-estimated 319 miles of range. Available all-wheel-drive models are rated for 307 miles while adding another motor for increased traction. That makes the drivetrain decision less about giving up substantial range and more about whether the additional traction matches your regular routes and destinations.
One Pedal Driving can slow and stop the vehicle under most conditions using the accelerator pedal, while Regen on Demand® lets the driver manually increase regenerative deceleration. Both systems convert some of the vehicle's motion back into stored battery energy. Cabin preconditioning can heat or cool the interior while the Equinox EV remains connected to a charger, helping preserve battery energy for the trip ahead.
Actual range changes with temperature, speed, terrain, climate-control use, passenger and cargo weight, driving habits, and battery condition. High Desert heat and longer highway trips can produce different results than the EPA estimate, so we recommend planning around your own commute and charging access.
Charging at Home
Level 1 charging uses a standard household outlet but adds range slowly. Level 2 charging uses a properly installed 240-volt circuit and is the more practical choice for many owners who want to replenish their normal daily mileage overnight.
Available Chevrolet home-charging equipment includes Level 2 options, while an available Dual Level Charge Cord can support compatible 120-volt and 240-volt connections. The Equinox EV seats up to five in a two-row cabin. A dual-height cargo floor creates additional flexibility for organizing or concealing smaller items.
LT 2 and RS add comfort and convenience equipment beyond the LT 1, including heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, and wireless phone charging. Available equipment on select configurations can include ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, multi-color ambient lighting, and additional driver-assistance technology.
Large Standard Displays
Every 2027 Equinox EV includes a 17.7-inch center touchscreen and an 11-inch Driver Information Center. The displays provide access to vehicle settings, charging information, media, navigation features, and important driving data.
Available Google built-in compatibility integrates services such as Google Maps, compatible apps, and available Google Gemini. Some connected functions require a Google account, an eligible service plan, or both.
No Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
The Equinox EV does not include Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. Instead, its infotainment system uses Google built-in compatibility for supported navigation, voice-assistance, and app functions.
Compatible phones can still connect through Bluetooth® for supported calling, contacts, and audio functions. Buyers who regularly rely on phone projection should test the Equinox EV system and review service-plan requirements before choosing the vehicle.
More Than 20 Standard Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
The 2027 Equinox EV includes more than 20 standard safety and driver-assistance features. Standard equipment includes Adaptive Cruise Control along with technologies designed to assist with braking, lane positioning, surrounding awareness, and everyday traffic situations.
LT 2 adds equipment such as HD Surround Vision, while available technologies can include Enhanced Auto Park Assist and Super Cruise® hands-free driver assistance for compatible roads. Super Cruise is not an autonomous driving system. The driver must remain attentive, follow system instructions, and be ready to take control.
